As of April 15th, 2012 the Society had received $747.45 in donations to the Micro-Lending Portfolio Project and had provided 36 micro-loans to men and women around the world.

Donations to the micro-loan portfolio can be made in two ways:
1) Cash Donation
Cash donations may be sent or delivered to Scripps Mailbox #503 at the address:

2) Credit or Debit Card Donation Online
Donations may be made online via Kiva by purchasing a “Kiva Card”. This will act as a gift card which may then be forwarded via email to the Society, and the funds will be added to the Society’s portfolio from which to make investments.

We ask that donors please include their name, 5C affiliation (parent, alum, student, etc) and email address with their donation unless they prefer to remain anonymous. This will enable us to keep in contact about the progress of our portfolio and where the funds are being invested.
