Candlelight Circle of Hope

The Scripps College community, alumnae, and friends formed a Circle of Hope for Gabby Giffords ’93 and other victims of the shooting in Tucson, Tuesday night, Jan. 18, on the campus’s Bowling Green. The gathering offered words of comfort, music and song, messages to Gabby from alumnae and friends from across the world, and prayerful silence as hundreds lit candles of hope.
