Scripps College Journal
About

About

Scripps College Journal is a student-run literary and arts magazine founded in 1999. We feature all types of creative nonfiction, fiction, poetry, visual art (including photography and video), music, and essays (including winners from the Marie McSpadden Sands Writing Awards).

Through our print and online mediums, we intend to provide a creative space and publishing opportunities for aspiring young writers and artists to share the best of their talent.

We accept submissions from all students at the Claremont Colleges, and at the end of every spring semester, we distribute our printed publication. Enjoy interacting with other creative souls to share ideas, stories, artwork, and more on our website, Instagram, and Facebook, and stay tuned for our on-campus writing workshops and events.
