Scripps Student Investment Fund (SIF) has fifteen board members, all Scripps students. They manage a portfolio of approximately twenty stocks, bonds, and exchange traded funds. SIF is a fantastic educational opportunity for any student looking to gain investing experience. It has weekly board member meetings that consist of sharing current events and financial analysis to make the best portfolio possible. It also hosts one open meeting per semester that all community members are welcome to attend. SIF distributes applications every semester that spots are available. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply. If you would like more information about SIF, email its President, Maddie Ripley, at madeline.ripley [at] scrippscollege [dot] edu.
