Professor of French Studies & Humanities, Scripps College, Claremont, California. French Department Chair 1995-2000, 2003, and 2009-11. Duties: teaching medieval Through seventeenth-century French literature,  French language, French civilization, and  humanities, organizing cultural activities, advising students, coordinating placement  testing, directing senior theses, Committee on Study Abroad Chair 1998-2003, and research.

Associate dean with office mates7-06 to 7-12 Associate Dean of Faculty, Scripps College, Claremont University Consortium. Duties include managing student applications for fellowships, scholarships, internships, and awards, coordinating departmental program reviews, dealing with student academic complaints and problems, supervise academic advising, participate in 1st-year orientation, sit on the Study Abroad and Internationalization committees, organize Capstone Day, co-organize the 5-C New Faculty Workshop, run special ad hoc projects, and represent the Dean in her absence.

3-93 to 6-93 Visiting Associate Professor at the University of California, Irvine. Duties: teaching  a French Conversation course.                 

 1‑86 to 6‑86 Visiting Lecturer at the University of California, Irvine.  Duties: teaching French literature, French language and humanities. Full time.

9-85 to 12-96 Consultant, Interpreter and Translator (English, French, Dutch/Flemish) for Sally Low and Associates Interpreters and Translators.  Court House interpreting and translating. Free lance.

3‑81 to 12‑85 Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Irvine.  Duties: teaching intermediate French, French phonetics, and independently developing a French language course focusing on the 1984 Olympics.

1‑84 to 12-93 French Instructor at Golden West College in Huntington Beach. One course.

1‑85 to 12‑87 French Instructor at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. One course.

9-80 to 3‑81 Intermediate Spanish teacher at Servite High School in Anaheim.                                                                

9‑75 to 6‑80 Intermediate and advanced French teacher at Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat, Belgium. Duties: teaching French language, French literature and civilization.

1‑78 to 6‑80 Beginning and intermediate Spanish instructor at LBC Community College in Merksem, Belgium.
