I am a new IT FITS Member.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1734\" src=\"https:\/\/community.scrippscollege.edu\/itfits\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/10\/IT-Head-shot-176x300.jpg\" alt=\"IT Head shot\" width=\"106\" height=\"180\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When I am at home in Los Angeles, I like to go on long bike rides and play sports at the beach. During the weekends, I would bike 30-45 miles with my family and normally bring a picnic! Another portion of my time is dedicated to reading: \u00a0I love to read. In my room I have a stack of books waiting for me to delve into. I am currently reading the novel, <em>Guns Germs and Steel<\/em>. Overall it&#8217;s important to stay informed about current events and world issues, and when I can I try to read the latest issue of the <em>Economist<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m excited to write more blog posts and learn to work with different Adobe programs! Through IT FITS, I hope to build relationships with faculty while exploring the many different facets of technology.<\/p>\n<p>I am currently training as an IT FITS Intern. I am very excited to explore Sakai and learn about the technological resources available here in our Scripps community! The program I have been working with the most so far is Adobe InDesign. It is very useful and I have enjoyed working with it! My colleagues have been wonderful. They are knowledgeable, patient and understanding which only reaffirms my notion that IT FITS has been in great hands.
