The palm trees are gently swaying in the breeze and Scripps students are out in sundresses, sunglasses, and hopefully their sunblock. While as a Montanan, none of these things indicate to me that it is January, the Google calendar (unlike the Mayan) doesn\u2019t lie. <strong>Spring semester is in session and IT-FITS is back to help you with all your techy needs, large and small.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m happy to be rejoining IT-FITS after spending last fall studying in Florence, Italy. After quickly learning never to order a cappuccino after noon, I set off into a semester of travelling, learning Italian language and culture, and studying art.<\/p>\n<p>I learned how to paint traditional frescos&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"internal-source-marker_0.8614473840551974\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/0Tgivl6Ce-pXYOz8uGHKVNzkz6e1stiXMveQSsgoRF6ZnzogdZWQ6ZC41HbAdoYH4jY8A7bBBsk3StHY7BZs0gF75NtXtNEUGdcrLRxRWgWttN661PQ\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"290\" \/><\/p>\n<p>create <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/55546380\">3D fashion animations<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>and <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/55307625\">snarky video art<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also learned what an amazing place Scripps College is. Sure, I knew Scripps was great before I left, but it really took 6,000 miles, 8 months, a language barrier, and a lot of gelato for that to completely sink in.
