Paul Orlando (developer of the Hong Kong startup ecosystem) spoke yesterday, Dec 6th, in the Scripps Career Planning & Resources Library on his experiences creating accelerators and startups. The event was 5C and offered Claremont College students the chance to talk business, startups, accelerators, and entrepreneurship with a highly experienced professional. Those attending were asked to complete a brief survey so Mr. Orlando could provide a more tailored session, addressing participants’ individual goals.<\/p>\n

Paul Orlando runs Startups Unplugged Lean Startup Bootcamp, which covers everything you need to know about growing a startup. He is also Co-founder and Director of AcceleratorHK, a mobile startup accelerator. Previously, he co-founded a startup in New York, developed new communication services and most recently helped Hong Kong build its startup ecosystem. He now lives in Pasadena, California.<\/p>\n
