Wonder Woman Movie

After countless Batman and Superman films (and even more to come) DC announces that the very first ever live action Wonder Woman movie will be released in 2017. Given the lack of female-led movies, and especially female-led superhero movies, this is a cause for celebration. For a long time Hollywood has been in the mindset that female-led movies won’t do well in the box office. With the success of Frozen, Gravity, and the Hunger Games franchise, and now with this announcement I think that mindset is starting to go away. Hopefully in the future women will get more of the silver screen representation that they have been demanding for ages.
