In 2003, I was one of seven American Council on Education Fellows who received State Department permission to visit Cuban universities and meet with educators there. We also had plenty of time to see the sights of La Habana and other cities. Here are some pictures from the visit. Whenever I’m asked about Cuba, my answer is, “Go! And go now, before it changes.” It is a beautiful country and the people are quite remarkable.
