Just yesterday, Apple released its new operating system, iOS 7 for iPhones and iPads. The new system brings some drastic changes to how you may use your Apple device. Probably the most noticeable change is the new bright graphics interface. It almost doesn’t need mentioning as it was the first thing I noticed when I looked at the new update. Personally, I am excited about the new Safari interface. There seem to be no more limits on how many tabs you can open at once, and it is easier to go through them because the pages ‘stack’ on top of each other. Another interesting feature is the Control Panel, which you can access from any screen with a finger swipe to change settings all in one place.
One thing to note if you are thinking about upgrading is that you can’t go back to iOS 6 once you’ve made the switch. And while iOS 7 is compatible with the iPhones 4 and 4S, some iOS 7 features meant to be used on the newest iPhones won’t be available on these older models.
It’s an extremely alluring new system, all in all, but I think I’ll be waiting for bugs to get fixed before I put the new system onto my iPhone.
