Hi!
My name is Francesca. I am a new IT FITS Member.
When I am at home in Los Angeles, I like to go on long bike rides and play sports at the beach. During the weekends, I would bike 30-45 miles with my family and normally bring a picnic! Another portion of my time is dedicated to reading: I love to read. In my room I have a stack of books waiting for me to delve into. I am currently reading the novel, Guns Germs and Steel. Overall it’s important to stay informed about current events and world issues, and when I can I try to read the latest issue of the Economist.
I’m excited to write more blog posts and learn to work with different Adobe programs! Through IT FITS, I hope to build relationships with faculty while exploring the many different facets of technology.
I am currently training as an IT FITS Intern. I am very excited to explore Sakai and learn about the technological resources available here in our Scripps community! The program I have been working with the most so far is Adobe InDesign. It is very useful and I have enjoyed working with it! My colleagues have been wonderful. They are knowledgeable, patient and understanding which only reaffirms my notion that IT FITS has been in great hands. I hope to learn as much as I can from my peers in the short time that remains this semester, and be the best ITA that I can be!
