What is Box?
Box is a cloud-based file storage solution that you access through your Scripps account! All active Scripps accounts have unlimited storage space. It is a space to work, backup, share and collaborate on files.
To start utilizing Box, first understand that it comes in two formats: Web Browser and Desktop application.
The Web Browser version is best for:
- Your first login
- Sharing files
- Live collaboration (Microsoft Online)
- Searching for files
The Desktop application (Box Drive) is best for:
- Day-to-day viewing and editing documents (e.g. with Word, Excel, Acrobat)
- Backing up, copying, or moving large volumes of files

How do you log into Box?
Login on Web Browser:
- Go to: http://scrippscollege.app.box.com/
- Log in with your network credentials (same as your portal or Canvas login).
