CNBC’s Bob Lang Speaks at Scripps About Options Trading

Another excellent event wrapped up this weekend–we hosted CNBC’s Bob Lang for a session on Saturday covering options trading strategies and investing psychology. This seminar taught attendees how to trade options and grow their accounts. Mr. Lang also shared about his career path, with a brief Q/A following the session.  If you missed the event, check out StockSessions.com Courses–you’ll find the slides on their website and a video of their lecture on their Youtube account.

Speaker Bob Lang is a private trader in equity and option markets at his company, Aztec Capital LLC, and the founder of Explosive Options http://explosiveoptions.net/. Through Explosive Options, Lang mentors subscribers to make options trading for income more accessible. He also serves as one of Jim Cramer’s go-to technical experts on Mad Money and regularly contributes to TheStreet.com. Previously, Lang managed a $300 million pension and 401(k) plan for Sunkist Growers and worked with floor traders in the active bond-trading group of Countrywide Capital Markets.

This event was part of an on-campus seminar series on practical investing skills organized by Scripps Women in Finance Accounting and Consulting (FAC) in partnership with Jeffrey Lin (HMC ’05) of StockSessions.com. The events are open to all Claremont Colleges students, faculty, and staff.

Save the date for our next session on Saturday, March 28! Shane Ouchi, Head of Business Operations at OTOY will discuss corporate strategy analysis and how investors can benefit.
